#18F Silent March

Yesterday marked one month since the death of prosecutor Alberto Nisman, who was found dead in his home the day before he was due to give evidence in front of Congress and accuse the President and other high-ranking government officials of involvement in a plot to cover up Iran’s alleged role in the 1994 bombing of the AMIA Jewish Center in Buenos Aires.

Whether you’re interested in Argentine politics or not, it’s hard to ignore the presence of hundreds of thousands of people peacefully gathering in the streets in a rainstorm.

Below are images from the #18F Marcha del Silencio (February 18th Silent March), organized by Nisman’s colleagues as a tribute to his work and memory.
